How it happened

Introduced as a child artist in Devar Magan , I've been working from the age of 6 in the film industry. As a child, I've done over a dozen films in Tamil and Telugu. When I was 12, I acted in Virumbugirein , a Tamil film directed by Susi Ganesan. Simultaneously, I got offers from the small screen. “Acham Madam Nanam-Brindhavanam”, produced by actor Mohan, marked my television debut.

How it felt

Chinni Thali , where I played the titular role (Chinni) when I was nine, fetched me the Nandi Award from the Andhra Pradesh Government. When I saw myself on the screen playing the protagonist, I was thrilled. The same was the case with my Tamil film Virumbugirein . After that I have acted in a number of Tamil films, including Mozhi .

How life changed

It is yet to change. I entered the industry with the hope of showcasing my talent. The films I have done so far have not enabled me to display my full potential as an actor. My recent film is Pugaipadam. I am eagerly awaiting the release of Nan Magan Alla , directed by Susindren of Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu fame, where I have a good role — I feel it will prove to be a turning point in my career. I'm glad my roles in the on-going serials such as “Chellame” and “Thendral” on Sun and “Anu Alavum Bayamillai” on Vijay are much appreciated.
