Kamal Haasan is back on humour track. His next film ‘Manmadhan Ambu' will retain the flavours of the actor's blockbuster romantic comedies sparkling with wit and humour and yet will be different from his other projects in more ways than one.
Kamal Haasan, who is pairing up with Trisha in the film, said the cast, including Madhavan and Sangeetha, was a strong support for the movie and they promptly turn up for rehearsals.
“I have always insisted on continuous rehearsals before any shooting begins. Theatre artists make a flawless performance on stage with their meticulous rehearsals. Film actors should also get into the practice of rehearsals as they save time and money,” he told mediapersons here on Thursday. The actor was tight-lipped about the south Indian film industry's tiff with Bollywood actors attending the IIFA.
K.S.Ravikumar, who is directing ‘Manmadhan Ambu', said the film would be a refreshing treat for the audience as it packs in a lot of fun and romantic elements. “Kamal sir has been one of the best romantic heroes the film industry has ever had. Film-lovers will be glad to see him donning the image again. The movie will shape up into an enjoyable fare,” he said.
After ‘Avvai Shanmugi,' ‘Panchathantram' and ‘Dasavatharam,' Ravikumar wields the megaphone for Kamal for the fourth time. A major part will be shot in Italy, Spain, and Greece . The film is produced by Udayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies. Devi Sri Prasad scores music and Manush Nandan handles cinematography. Kamal has scripted story and screenplay and also composed a few lyrics .

Full fledged romantic Comedies have become rarer in tamil cinema,hopefully by the success of this ambu,more Romcoms come and breathe fresh air to this stale variety of violence,con and mindless hero worship.

Crazy Mohan's dialogues will create wonders through Kamal's timing and delivery.

It is not the fourth time that Mr. K.S. Ravikumar is directing Mr. Kamal Haasan. He had also directed him in 'Thenali', so this would be his fifth time.
KS Ravi Kumar has already directed Kamal for four times.(Avvai Sahnmugi, Tenali, Pancha Thanthiram and Dasavatharam). This is his fifth film with Kamal.
Happy to know that kamal is back with humour. He's just amazing with his flexibility,his 'Michaeel Madna Kamarajan','Sathileelavathi',Pushpak are classic comedy movies ever in India.

Kamal hassan- It will be very interesting to see how he is going weave magic this time as a 30 something looking like actor,thats indeed is going to be a tough challenge than all the 10 roles in Dasavatharam.
