Jyotika, who was last seen in 36 Vayadhinile , is back to the movie sets. She has kickstarted the shoot of her next project with director Bramma, who was behind the critically-acclaimed, National Award-winning Kuttram Kadithal .
In an earlier interview to The Hindu , the actor had made it clear that she’d take up projects if they were better than 36 Vayadhinile . She had said, “I’m not here for money. I will not bargain my precious time with my kids for cinema. It has to be worth the time.”
According to a press release, her upcoming film with Bramma – the pooja of which took place yesterday - would be a “woman-centric commercial outing.”
The film, produced by actor Suriya’s 2D Entertainment, will also have actors such as Nasser, Livingston, Urvashi, Saranya and Bhanupriya as part of the cast.
