Some of the biggest names in Hollywood, including multiple Academy award-winning actress Meryl Streep and Angelina Jolie are headed to India to shoot documentaries about human trafficking.

Charlie’s Angels star Lucy Liu has already signed up for the programme, which aims to raise awareness about the issue of trafficking and will be making a trip to Mumbai, reported Contactmusic .

Liu will debut as a director and step behind the camera for the production, which will be the first of four documentary movies by Hollywood stars.

The 40-year-old actress is following in the footsteps of Lindsay Lohan by jetting to India to direct a documentary about human trafficking. Lohan flew to the country last month to shoot a film about poverty and child trafficking for BBC .
