I would love to come back as a dinosaur: Lavanya Tripathi

As Kuchipudi dancer Nandana in the comedy Bhale Bhale Magadivoy and Sita in Soggade Chinni Nayana , Lavanya Tripathi cemented her place as one of the most promising actors in the Telugu film industry. In between juggling shooting schedules for her forthcoming films, she answers this week’s The Proust Questionnaire.

What is your idea of happiness?

My idea of happiness is when you just smile without knowing the reason.

What is your greatest fear?

Losing my loved ones.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

Sometimes I can be really rude, but that’s rare.

If you could change one thing about your family, what would it be?

I have a perfect family. Nothing needed to be changed. If I start thinking of changing anything about them, I should change my thought.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

I have learned to be selfless and understood life a little better.

If you were to die and come back as a person or thing, what do you think it would be?

I would love to come back as a dinosaur. I mean, just imagine, everyone will be running after me and taking care of me as I will be the last of that species. Yeah, maybe be a T-Rex.

Where would you like to live?

I would like to live anywhere with people I love. It’s not about the place but people.

What is your favourite occupation?

I think archaeologist have an interesting job, and astronauts as well.

What is your most marked characteristic?

I smile a lot.

What is the quality you most like in the opposite sex?

Intelligence, love, and their passion towards their work.

What do you most appreciate in your friends?

I appreciate positivity and that they are always there for me.

Who are your favourite authors?

I am not much of a reader but I love thrillers, so Sidney Sheldon.

Who is your favourite hero of fiction?

Iron Man.

Who are your heroes in real life?

ABJ Abdul Kalam.

What are your favourite names?

Can’t think of any right away, but in girls I like Shakti, Dhara, Padma, Lakshmi.

What is your present state of mind?

Work and only work on my mind.

How would you like to die?

Before my loved ones. That pain will be worse than dying.

What is your favourite motto?

Live like there is no tomorrow.
