Music highlights

There are six numbers in the album and the best is ‘Ammadi Athadi,’ sung by Mysskin and written by Kabilan. This song gets repeated at the end. ‘Vaa Machi Oothiko’ is an engaging number sung by Benny Dayal and written by Na. Muthukumar. The same lyricist’s ‘Yaar Ivalo,’ sung by Krish, has a beautiful tune. ‘Sandi Kuthira,’ sung by Renuka and written by Pon Ravindran, is appealing. The theme follows next.

What they say…

Producer D. Govindaraj: I am in the real estate business. I have been interested in producing a movie for the past four years. When I expressed my desire to director Vincent Selva, a good friend of mine, he outlined a story to me which I liked. And I decided to make it my company’s first production.

Director Vincent Selva: I have made Priyamudan, Iranian, Youth, Jithan, Madurai Veeran, Perumal and Kakkhi . Thulli Vilaiyadu, my eighth film, is a comedy based thriller with Prakash Raj as the main villain. We waited for him more than eight months as the film couldn’t be made without him. He was kind enough to finish the dubbing immediately after the shoot. Mysskin, my one-time associate, has sung a song for the film which has come out well.

Hero Yuvaraj: I am an architect and have been keen on entering the film industry as an actor. So I approached director Vincent Selva for a good role. He not only offered me this role but also helped me overcome fear and encouraged me to give my best in front of the camera. Acting with some of the best-known names in the industry was an interesting experience. Those who have seen the film are appreciating my performance and I can’t wait to see audience’s reaction.

Music director Srikanth Deva:Thulli Vilaiyadu is my fourth film with director Vincent Selva. I have earlier got an award for scoring the music for one of his films. After hearing the songs of Jithan , actor Vijay called me to say that he wanted a similar song in his Sivakasi . I did a remix number in Perumal which got me the best remix award. As for Thulli Vilaiyadu, director Mysskin has sung a song, which is a highlight.
