Ranbir Kapoor is going single! For a film, that is. Ranbir is playing Roy in a film of the same name. There are conflicting reports from sources whether Roy is an expert thief or an undercover cop! The film is to be directed by first-timer Vicky Singh and will also star Jacqueline Fernandez and Arjun Rampal. While the two of them are cast opposite each other, Ranbir has reportedly no lady by his side, for a change.

Sibling bonding

Akash Chopra is making his acting debut in his home production Rabba Main Kya Karoon , directed by brother Amrit Sagar. He belongs to Bollywood’s Sagar family best known for the epic Ramayana and other mythological serials. He has trained at the National School of Drama and has composed music under his banner for several shows, including Hatim and Prithviraj Chauhan. He was also the music director for the National Award-winning film 1971, directed by his brother. The two brothers have also worked together on a one-act Hindi play earlier.

Lessons in acting

Meanwhile, another producer’s daughter, Zoa Morani, who made an unsuccessful debut in Shah Rukh Khan’s home production Always Kabhi Kabhi , is getting ready for her next release. Titled Bhaag Johnny , the film stars Kunal Khemu and Mukul Dev besides Vikram Bhatt as a genie! We hear that Zoa, meanwhile, has decided to brush up on her acting by doing a workshop with theatre artiste N.K. Sharma.
