Film festival office opened

Minister for Education and Culture M.A. Baby inaugurated the Festival Office of the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) at Kairali Theatre here on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said the festival should provide a unique and extraordinary experience to each and every participant. The films screened here should later be known on the basis of their IIFK reception, he added.

The inauguration of the IIFK Media Centre, which was scheduled along with that of the Festival Office, was cancelled owing to the rain.

Kerala State Chalachitra Academy Chairman K.R. Mohanan, Academy Secretary K.S. Srikumar, Academy Vice-Chairman V. K. Joseph, Academy Artistic Director Bina Paul and Kerala State Film Development Corporation Managing Director Premshanker were present.
