Documentary on Mullaperiyar to be released during IFFK

A documentary on Mullaperiyar dam focussing on the issues facing the project would be released as part of the 15th edition of the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK 2010).

The documentary, `A dam between life and death’, is directed by Vijayan Jayaswasnom.

The 40-minute film would discuss issues related to the Mullaperiyar dam and its consequences.

Chief Minister V. S. Achuthanandan would inaugurate the release of the documentary on December 9. Water Resources Minister N. K. Premachandran would preside over the function.
