WWE star Nathan Jones in the boxing ring with ‘Jayam’ Ravi in Bhooloham

Nicknamed ‘The Colossus of Boggo Road’, WWE star Nathan Jones, whose towering presence at 6 ft. 11 inches is enough to put anyone out of balance, landed in Chennai on Monday night to fight it out with ‘Jayam’ Ravi inside the boxing ring for Bhooloham. The massively built wrestler will be seen exchanging punches with the Kollywood actor in climax sequences of the film.

Though Nathan Jones, who made his debut in WWE in 2002, is now increasingly seen in big budget action movies in Hollywood, appearing in popular flicks such as Troy, Police Story 4 and Mad Max: Fury Road.

Jones will be shooting at Prasad Studios where a huge set replicating a boxing ring has been erected. Larnell Stovall Jr., an experienced stunt director, who has directed entertaining action sequences in films such as Undisputed III, has been roped in to choreograph the boxing bout between ‘Jayam’ Ravi and Jones. Produced by Aascaar Films, Bhooloham also stars Trisha and Prakash Raj.
