Kermit, Miss Piggy and the menagerie are back celebrating their success with a world tour. However, their oily manager, Dominic Badguy (yes, really) has a nefarious plot involving theft, impersonation, vanishing moles, a complicated map and the crown jewels among other things.
Muppets Most Wanted with its songs, colour, humour and action is certified fun for the entire family. The sly referential jokes will have the adults chuckling, while the dance, song and simpler jokes will please the bachcha party enormously.
Cameos from the who’s who of showbiz, including Sean “Diddy” Combs, Celine Dion, Zach Galifianakis, Salma Hayek, Ray Liotta and Christoph Waltz add a touch of whimsy to the proceedings.
The magic of cinema that seamlessly blends live action and the muppets is awesome. Tina Fey as Nadya the guard at the Gulag in Siberia, Ty Burrell as Jean Pierre Napoleon from the French Interpol and Ricky Gervais as Badguy ensure that Muppets Most Wanted moves along briskly.
The plot on the right side of preposterous helped along by innumerable star turns, songs and jokes ensure wholesome entertainment.
