What they say...

Producers Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur: We believe in providing quality cinema and it has been possible with some good directors both in the North and South of our country. In the South, particularly in Tamil, we got to work with some reputed director’s like Sunder C., and now we’re are happy to join forces with their company Avani Cinemax to come up with an entertaining film that’s sure to make the audience laugh to their heart’s content. It’s a beautiful love story.

Director Sunder C: It is a feel good romantic comedy caper with Santhanam playing love guru to several young men. Shy and introverted hero Kumar (Siddharth) secures a job in an IT firm in Chennai and nurtures hopes of wooing a girl. George (Ganesh Venkatraman) joins the office and enters into the life of Kumar to shatter his love ambitions. George is called Mr. Smart in the office; he is a personality everybody is keen to associate with. Enter Sanjana (Hansika), a beautiful girl, who joins the company as a programmer. Kumar’s attempts to woo her fail for she falls for Mr. Smart. Kumar decides to seek help and meets Mr. Nokia (Santhanam), the love guru. Whether Nokia is able to break the bond between George and Sanjana and whether he can ensure that love blossoms between Kumar and Sanjana forms the rest of the story which takes several twists and turns in the course of two hours and fifteen minutes.

Hero Siddharth: I usually like working with good directors in the South. Naturally, I was thrilled to work under Sunder C. The story is simple with several entertaining incidents to keep up the pace. Santhanan, of course, rules every scene. I feel I’ve got a role that I fit into very easily and am confident the film will be a hit.

Music director Sathya: My first film was Engeyum Eppodum. This movie is also going to be interesting for me as the director has given me plenty of scope to showcase my talent. I am also busy with Ponmalai Pozhudu, Nedunsalai, Ivan Verumathiri and Thaneer Desam, besides a couple of untitled movies. The songs were released recently and I am thrilled with the response.
