What they say…

Producer Lakshmi Kanth: I started my career as a manager of a top production house in Telugu. It has been my dream to produce a movie with a good message. When director Ajay Nuthakki came to me with this powerful storyline, I felt it was time for me to enter the industry.

Hero and director Ajay Nuthakki: My father, grandfather and great grandfather are all freedom fighters. I wanted to make a film after my graduation in agriculture. I began doing research on refugees and wanted to show the hardship they face through a gripping narrative. Even as I was preparing the script for the film, I acted in a couple of Telugu films. This made me take up the hero’s role in Ravana Desam , a bilingual. The second half of the film has been shot in the sea and I am sure people will like it.

Music director R. Sivan: I am a journalist in the electronic media. I learnt Carnatic music for four years. Director Ajay is a good friend and I travelled with him right from when he started working on the script and this helped me do my best with the re-recording. I have scored the music for three Telugu movies before this. I expect Ravana Desam will provide me the necessary break in the Tamil film industry.
