K.E. Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green presents Pizza II-Villa, produced by C.V. Kumar and written and directed by Deepan. It is a thriller filled with tense moments. Santhosh Narayanan has scored the music, and Deepak Kumar Padhy has handled the camera. Leo John Paul is the editor, Mayan Ela, the art director, and Billa Jagan, the stunt choreographer. The audio of Pizza II- Villa was released in the presence of the unit and actor Prasanna.

There are six tracks in the album and the last two, ‘The Villa’ and ‘Varaipadam,’ are instrumental pieces performed by the Studio Orchestra of Sydney. ‘Boomiyil,’ sung by Pradeep Kumar and written by Arunraja Kamaraj, appeals. Three songs are written by Ganesh Kumar B. — ‘Disco Woman’ sung by Dhee is sure to go down well with youngsters; ‘Kanum Gnanam’ sung by Kalyani Nair is pleasant; and ‘Pa Pa’ sung by Gana Bala with the rap portions by Vineet Mani strikes the right chord. Producer C.V. Kumar: I have so far produced three films — Attakathi, Pizza and Soodhu Kavvum . I wanted to make the successful Pizza a franchise and hence this film. Villa is a thriller, which will keep the viewer on the edge of his seat.
Director Deepan: I finished my engineering course in Coimbatore and worked for five years in HCL. Even as I was working, I made nine short films for Kalaignar TV for the programme ‘Nalaya Iyakkunar’. I graduated to making a full-length feature film, when I got the opportunity to pitch this story to producer C.V. Kumar. It was he who named the film Pizza II-Villa . The film has Dolby Atmos sound.
Hero Ashok Selvan: I studied Visual Communication in Loyola College. I thought I would give acting a shot but soon realised it was my true calling. With each play or short film I did, I improved. After four years, I got an awesome break with Soodhu Kavvum and now Pizza II - Villa . Shooting for Villa was a wonderful experience, both personally and professionally. There was pressure because Pizza , the previous film, was a trendsetter and widely appreciated. I am lucky to have bagged this mature and intense role, which is in complete contrast to the one I played in Soodhu Kavvum . It goes without saying that I was nervous and excited. I am curious to know the response to Pizza II-Villa , my first film as a solo lead.
Music director Santhosh Narayanan: When I earlier scored the music for Pizza , I didn’t expect that there would be a sequel to it. One can enjoy Villa irrespective of whether one has watched the first part or not. It was an interesting experience to score the music for a horror film.
