What they say...
Director James David: I worked as an assistant to Aabhavanan and was an associate director for films such as Neevenunda Chellam , Rameshwaram,Rasikkum Seemane , Oru Mutham Oru Yutham and National award-winning 3D animation movie Inimae Nangathan . I have also written the screenplay and dialogues for quite a few films. This movie has been shot in exotic locations in Kumuli and Thekkady. For the first time in Tamil cinema, a tiger will be seen playing a full-fledged character role. The cat has features in a few Hollywood projects such as The Hangover, Burning Bright and We Bought a Zoo . We are proud to say we are part of ‘Incredible India’ and support the ‘Save the Tiger’ project. We’re, also happy our film has shaped up well.
Hero Tarun: I am an engineering graduate from Melbourne, Australia and enrolled for several acting courses there. I made by debut as Deepak in Neethane En Ponvasantham . I am thankful to my director James David for introducing me as a hero in this film.
Music director B. R. Rejin: I come from Mailam, a village near Tindivanam, where I completed my schooling. I was interested in music even then. My elder brother Madhu, brought me to Chennai. Incidentally, he plays the harmonium and is a singer. My musical education commenced with Nityanandam in Ayanavaram from whom I learnt to play the harmonium and Abdul Sattar who gave me piano lessons. My ambition is to learn various forms of music and become a musician with all-round knowledge, rather than someone who chases quick success. In 2002, I completed the eighth grade solo piano examination conducted by the Trinity College of Music, London. I started my career by composing jingles, theme music albums and re-recording. In 2010, director Bhuvanai Kannan gave me a break by introducing me as music director in his film Sankaran Kovil . I am proud I had an opportunity to work with late musical genius R. Sudarsanam’s son, guitarist Sadanandam, for the re-recording of the Tamil film Kulir 100 Degrees . I am also grateful to editing legend B. Lenin, who gave me opportunity to score the music for the Tamil films Unnil Tholaindhen and Ninaivugal Azhivadhillai . People have appreciated my music in those movies.
