NCR Movie Creations presents Chikiku Chikikichu, written and directed by N. Rajesh Kumar. A young man comes across a beautiful girl while travelling on the Kanyakumari Express. What happens at the end of the 12-hour journey? Mithun and Mridula play the lead roles supported by Adhavan, Anoop Aravindh, Anjali Devi, Romeo Paul, Arun, Aswin, Guru and Afsal. The camera is handled by N.S. Rajesh Kumar; the music is scored by Vijay Benjamin; and A. Kevin is the editor. The audio was released by actor Sarath Kumar and received by producer and director Keyar.

Producers K. Sundararajan, K. Balasubramanian and N. Rajesh Kumar: We were working in Dubai and when Rajesh Kumar wanted to direct a film we decided to back him as we were supremely confident of his abilities. The film has come out well.
Director N. Rajesh Kumar: I have made many short films as part of Nalaya Iyakkunar 2 and won awards. Chikiku Chikikichu is one of the films that got me many awards (yes, the same title). The story is about an IT guy nicknamed 'Chikki' (actual name is Chidambara Krishnan) who travels by a train, where he finds his ladylove. How does he try to impress the girl during the 12-hour journey and what happens to his love at the end? After completing the script, I was looking for a producer and my uncle K. Sundararajan and K. Balasubramanian came forward to produce the film along with me. This is probably the first time in the Tamil film industry an entire movie happens on a train. We hired a train for 15 days and shot the film.
Hero Mithun: After finishing a diploma course in multi-media, I joined as a web designer in a private concern. Interested in acting, I started doing small roles in films such as Engeyum Eppodum and Chennaiyil Oru Naal . I thank director Rajesh Kumar for offering me the lead role in this fascinating film.
Music director Vijay Benjamin: I am basically an audio engineer. I became friends with director Rajesh Kumar when we were doing films for Nalaya Iyakkunar . I have scored the music for nearly 15 short and 25 advertisement films. When Rajesh decided to do a feature film, he roped me in. Scoring the music for Chikiku was very challenging for me, as the entire film was shot on a train. I have worked hard to make the songs and the re-recording as interesting as possible. After the release of the audio, I am getting appreciation from different quarters.
Music Highlights: There are five songs in the album. Four are written by Rahul Prasad and they are ‘A Jelly’ sung by Naresh Iyer, Benjamin and RGR; ‘Enna Parthu Siricha’ sung by Karthik and Varalakshmi; ‘Kannodu Kannale’ by Mukesh, Padmalatha and RGR; and ‘Staro Maro’ sung by Vijaya T. Rajender and Nagarajan. The album comes to an end with the melodious ‘Kollai Kollum,’ written by Haja Mohammed and sung by Unnikrishnan and the music director.
