What it is about…

Director N. Lingusamy presents Goli Soda for Rough Note. S. D. Vijay Milton is the director-cinematographer; S.N. Arunagiri, the music director; and Antony, the editor. Pandiraj has penned the dialogues. The cast comprises Kishore, Pandi, Sree Raam, Murugesh, Seetha, Chandhini, Rai Imaan, Sujatha Sivakumar and R. K. Vijai Murugan.

Music highlights: There are eight numbers in the album of which ‘Jananam Jananam,’ written by Priyan and Mani Amudhavan and sung by Yasin, is the best. Harish has sung ‘Kadhal Pannaen,’ an appealing song written by him and Annamalai. ‘All Your Beauty’ reverberates in Gana Bala’s voice — he has also written it along with Mani Amudhavan. ‘Aaru Adivedu,’ again written and sung by Gana Bala, is likable. ‘Silusilu’ is written and sung melodiously by Sathya. The last three numbers are penned by Mani Amudhavan — ‘Ponnankanni’ sung by Swarnamuki and Ega, ‘Killadi’ sung by Rev Ravi and ‘Uiyaale’ sung by Sriranjani, Yasin and Padmalatha.

What they say…

Producer Bharath Seeni: Vijay Milton who has directed this film is my brother. We should thank director Lingusamy and his brother Subash Chandrabose for making our dream come true.

Director Vijay Milton: I have been the cameraman for films such as Kadhal and Vazhakku En 18/9. I have also directed Azhagai Irukkirai Bayamai Irukkirathu and now this. Goli Soda , set against the backdrop of the Koyambedu market, revolves around the lives of four children (played by Pasanga fame Kishore, Pandi, Sree Raam and Murugesh).

Music director S.N. Arunagiri: I am a keyboard player and have done more than 100 jingles. I composed a song in Kaliyugam and later got an opportunity to score the music for Yazh . My second full-fledged Tamil film is Goli Soda . I am happy the songs have already become popular.
