What it is about
Sharavana Creations’ En Oviya is written and directed by P. Selvakumar. The film has Arsan and Sherina Seth in the lead roles. A young man on a visit to his hometown receives a wrong phone call. The problems he faces as a consequence form an interesting climax. The first audio CD was released by music director Deva and received by directors Keyar and V.C. Guhanathan.
Music highlights
There are four songs in the album and the best is ‘Karuvarai’ written by S. Sarvana and sung by music director Deva. The other songs are written by Thai Inban — ‘Varadhu’ sung by Chinmaiye, ‘Thannanthaniye’ sung by Ranjith and Rita and ‘Pattharai’ sung by Monissha.

Producer B. Pradeesh kumar, P.M. Jailapdeen, S. Saravana, P. Selvakumar: We all have different business interests but are good friends. When we heard the story from director P. Selvakumar, we liked it and decided to make the movie.
Director P. Selvakumar: After finishing a course in acting at the Tamil Nadu Film and Television Institute, Taramani, I worked as an assistant to directors Vikraman and Radha Bharathi. When I wanted to direct a film, I approached my friends who agreed to produce it.
Hero Arsan: After completing my BBA, I joined Koothu-p-Pattarai. I did a film Ki. Mu. directed by Majith. En Oviya has given me an opportunity to showcase my acting skills. I am now doing Ranam directed by S. Vijayasekaran, an associate of director Prabhu Solomon.
Music director Ravi Ragav: I am the son of popular music director G.V. Ragavalu, who has scored the music for more than 300 movies in Telugu and who has sung the Telugu portion of the popular Bharathi song ‘Sindhu Nadhiyin Misai.’ I learnt to play the violin from Dhanraj master. After this I worked as an assistant to various music directors such as Rajkoti, Manisharma and Srikanth Deva. I got my break as a music director with Villalan and later did Muthal Thagaval Arikkai . En Oviya is my third film and there are three more in the pipeline.
