What it is about…
Malar Media’s Bhuvanakkadu , produced by Robinson and V.M. Mohan, is a thriller with several twists and turns. Mohan has also directed the film and written the story, screenplay and the dialogue. The film features Vignesh, Divya Nagesh, Kutti Malar, Tharvesh, Arya, ‘Nizhalgal’ Ravi, Anumohan, Pandu and Karate Raja. The cinematography is by Ravisamy, editing by Baskaran, choreography by Kesavan and stunts by ‘Speed’ Mohan. The audio was recently released by director Seeman and the first CD was received by director Manoj Kumar.
Music highlights
There are seven songs in the album traversing different moods and emotions. ‘Beauty looku’ in rag Niranjani is well rendered by Prabhakar. ‘Pooparvai’ sung by Adarsh and Chinmayi in rag Hanumanththodi is melodious. ‘Valaimeenu,’ sung by Mukesh, is interesting. ‘Uzhudhu pottu’ in Haricharan’s voice follows. ‘Kasukkuthan’ is a western rap number sung by Prabhakar, while ‘Minnal Oli’ in rag Keeravani comes twice — the female version by Sahana sounds better than the male version by Adarsh.

Producer and director V. M. Mohan: Producer Robinson and I are childhood friends and we have jointly produced the movie. I belong to Keeraparai, a village in Kanyakumari district. I have no film background, yet I felt like making a movie, so I boldly took up this project. The technicians who watched the preview of the movie are all praise for my work. The title Bhuvanakkadu denotes a happy, beautiful and blissful world. Passion is a twin-edged weapon. It has the power to change even a good person into a bad one. It is believed that money creates many upheavals. But passion has a more powerful impact on people than money. This is what Bhuvanakkadu seeks to show. It’s a film that can be enjoyed by the entire family.
Hero Vignesh: I was introduced by director Ganesh Raj in the film Chinnathai. I have so far acted in 40 films in Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. I think Bhuvanakkadu will prove to be a big break for me.
Music director Sharadh Priyadev: I am a keyboard player and have worked under various music directors. My first film as music director was Maman Machan . Now I am doing over half a dozen films, including Chithirai Thingal, Pechipparai and Enakku Unnai Pidikkum .
