What it is about…
All in All Azhaguraja , produced by Studio Green K.E. Gnanavel Raja, is said to be a laugh riot. The film features Karthi and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead, with Santhanam, Prabhu, Nassar, Saranya, V.S. Raghavan, Radhika Apte and Kota Srinivasa Rao comprising the rest of the cast. Sakthi Saravanan is the cameraperson; Vivek Harshan, the editor; Jakki, the art director; Prakash, the stunt choreographer; S.S. Thaman, the music director; and Na. Muthukumar, the lyricist. The story, screenplay, dialogue and direction are by Rajesh M., who has earlier made some of the best comedy films. The audio of All in All… was released by actor Suriya and received by the entire unit of the film.
Music highlights
The album has five songs, all of which are sure to attract listeners. ‘All in all,’ sung by Suchith Suresan, Senthil Dass, Sam P. Keerthan and Belle Raj, is enjoyable. ‘Yaarukkum Sollaama,’ sung by Rahul Nambiar, will go on to be a chart-topper. ‘Unna Paartha Naeram’ in the voices of Vijay Yesudas and Sri Vardhini, is good, taking us back to the eighties. ‘Orae Oru,’ sung by Javed Ali, is pleasing. ‘Yamma Yamma’ by Sooraj Santhosh and Shreya Goshal will make listeners dance.

Producer K.E. Gnanavel Raja: When we decided to do a film with Karthi, I zeroed in on Rajesh M. to direct it. With Santhanam coming on board, it has become a laugh riot.
Director Rajesh M: It’s my first film with Karthi whose comic timing is well-known. With Santhanam around, it’s a cracker of a film. This time, I’ve gone in for situational comedy. In this type of films, one will not expect a powerful heroine. But Kajal’s Chitradevi Priya is a powerful role, as important as that of the hero and the comedian. I feel All in All… will capture the hearts of filmgoers.
Hero Karthi: Doing comedy in a film and making people laugh is the hardest thing to do. I’m happy to have got this opportunity in All in All … Those who saw the rushes and those present during shooting appreciated my comic timing. The credit for this goes to the director who has conceived of the scenes innovatively. Santhanam has two roles and three looks in the film. Do I need to say we had great fun on the sets?
Music director S.S. Thaman: After a long time, I got a thoroughly enjoyable script. Each scene is sure to make the audience laugh to their hearts’ content. Both Rajesh and I are ardent fans of Ilaiyaraja and we have a similar list of the maestro’s songs that we like. We have a section in the film resembling the eighties; I have composed a song corresponding to that period and it has come out well. In fact, the way the sequence has been shot makes it all the more beautiful. I have avoided electronic instruments and used more of live music.
