What it is about…
What happens on the eve of a festival day on a tourist bus bound for Chennai from Chidambaram forms the story of S and S Dream Maker Studio’s Aaru Chakkara Kuthirai. The movie has comedy, love and sentiment and is produced by R. Muralitharan and S. Senthil Kumar. The story, screenplay, dialogue and direction are by Senthil Swaminathan. Jaisathya and Abinitha play the lead roles. The audio CD was released by various associate and assistant directors and received by producer P.L. Thenappan and actor Mayilsamy.

The album has six songs and the best is ‘Vettu Pattasu’ written by Vasantharaja and sung by Mukesh and Hemambiga. ‘Bam Bam Bus,’ written by Jayamurasu and sung by Abilash, has an interesting rap section by G-NA. ‘Velinattu Puyale,’ written by Kavi. Chandran and sung by Sunandhan, Tulsi Jayan and G-NA, is good. ‘Ennamo Enna Azhagu’ penned by Tamilamudan and rendered by Deepa Miriam is sure to attract listeners. While ‘Konjum Taalatu’ written by Jayamurasu and sung by Ajay Krishna is bound to make listeners reach for the rewind button. ‘Azhagana Boomi Paravai,’ sung by Shruthi S. Bhatt and written by Kavi. Chandran, is the last number on the album.

Producer R. Muralitharan: Besides producing Aaru Chakkara Kuthirai , I have played the villain in it. The story revolves around the day-to-day lives of commuters travelling on a bus. The film has come out well and I am sure of its success.
Director Senthil Swaminathan: I should thank Babu Iqbal of Thuyavan Pictures, as he was the one who introduced me to K. Bhagyaraj under whom I worked for some time before joining directors Karthik Kumar, Durai Govindharaj, Vijay Prakash and Sundara Kumaran. After working for 15 years under several directors, I am now doing Aaru Chakkara Kuthirai . Cameraman Sai Nandha has done a great job and music director Jean Huret has composed six beautiful songs.
Hero Jai Sathya: I am from Thiruchengodu and acting is new to me. I just carried out whatever the director told me. I also thank my co-star Abinitha for giving me some acting tips. All the songs in the film are melodious and I hope the audience enjoys them.
Music director Jean Huret: I have scored the music for documentaries and telefilms and got awards for Arumbu and Bandh . I studied in the Tamizhisai College and did my doctorate in music therapy from Colombo University. This is my first Tamil film for the big screen. My first album was Jeetho India in 2003 for the World Cup cricket. I have scored the music for films in other languages. Director Senthil explained the situations for the songs and gave me full freedom to work on the tunes. It was great working with him.
