Actor Karan is thrilled — he’s shooting for his 75th film Kanniyum Kalaiyum Sema Kadhal . “I am happy to be acting in my 75th film when the Indian film industry is celebrating its 100th year. The shooting is progressing at a brisk pace, and is likely to release for or before Pongal.” The film is produced and directed by V.C. Vadivudaiyan. A few of the films Karan’s acted in include Nammavar , Kadhal Kotai , Gokulathil Seethai , Kannupada Poguthaiya , Love Today and Kadhal Mannan . The actor says the commercial in which he appeared alongside Kareena Kapoor too is memorable.

Going by the sheer number of projects, looks like Sathyaraj is one of the busiest actors in tinsel town. From Hindi film Chennai Express and Telugu movie Bahubali to over half-a-dozen Tamil films, including Thalaivaa , Varuthapadaadha Vaalibar Sangam , Raja Rani , Sivappu , Kalavaram , Sigaram Thodu and Sivanandi, the versatile actor has a long list to flaunt.
Says Sathyaraj, “When I worked with giants such as Sivaji Ganesan and later with Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth, I was a youngster, and I learnt a lot from them. Today’s youngsters are a talented lot, and I enjoy working with them too.”
Back to big screen
Finally, someone has managed to bring together actor-couple Prasanna and Sneha who were not keen on working together for a film. But thanks to Arun Vaidhyanathan, the duo will come together for his Tamil film. Apparently, they liked the script too much to say no to it. Incidentally, the two played the lead in Arun’s critically acclaimed Achchamundu Achchamundu .
Right now, Arun is producing Kalyana Samaiyal Saadham and directing a Malayalam film featuring Mohan Lal.
