Rahman scores the music for this film produced by Aascar Film’s Ravichandran.
Looks like we are inching back to the days when films brimmed with songs. Music director V. Thashi says, “When producers approach me, they request for a lot of songs. For the film Thirugnanasambandar, I have composed 14 songs; 11 for En Per Kumarasamy; 10 for Kaanum Kanavugal; and seven each for Aruvikkarai Oram and Odum Megangale. And melody rules, since it lingers in listeners’ minds for long.” Incidentally, Thashi has composed music for over 60 films and re-recorded for over 170 films across Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Oriya, Bengali, Assam and Bojpuri, and for the English film Under The Sky.
