How a marriage is shattered when disillusionment sets in and how each individual tackles this forms the gist of director G. Ramesh’s script for Iruvar Ullam . The hero Karthick is played by Vinai Rai and his wife Parvathi, by Payal Rajput. The third angle in the relationship, Sambavi, is played by Archana Gupta. Producer L. Sivabalan of Zero Rules Entertainment says, “The hero, a successful CEO in the U.S., aspires to get married to an Indian girl and hence, comes back to India. Coincidentally, he meets the heroine who has always dreamt of marrying a U.S. citizen. Things start getting out of hand when the hero’s job demands ruin their family life. That’s when the other girl comes into the picture. But, what seems like an ordinary relationship between the heroine and her new-found friend takes a twist, making Iruvar Ullam compelling to watch.” The film has melodious songs by Vijay Antony.

Blend of music and romance

From playing a rural role in Attakathi to a stylish one in Vaarayo Vennilaave , actor Dinesh has come a long way. He is teamed up with Haripriya while Sania Sheikh provides the third angle in director R. Sashidharan’s film. “It is an unusual love story with a lot of twists and turns. In fact, it could be termed a musical, as Karthik Raja’s songs and background score are the highlights. The setting is modern and Dinesh perfectly fits the character,” informs Sashidharan. The director informs that the film is in its final stage of production and is awaiting Karthik Raja’s return from his foreign concerts for completing the background score.

Here is something different

Director M. Thilakarajan’s forthcoming Adhu Vera Idhu Vera is built on the premise that a film is supposed to provide out-and-out entertainment. “Many individuals chase their dreams without considering the consequences. The hero, after watching films such as Nayagan and Basha , decides that he too should become a dada and comes to Chennai. What happens thereafter is told in a humorous way. Hopefully it will send a message that there is no sense in following your ideals blindly. I have made this film with a view to providing pure entertainment so that the viewer comes away happy and satisfied,” says Thilakarajan who had earlier made Naadu Athai Naadu and Chinnamama . Varshan and Saniathara play the lead roles in Adhu Vera Idhu Vera .
