While all the movies of the series deal with piracy, the first movie in the series is remembered for introducing the world to the great Captain Jack Sparrow and his witty charm. The Curse of the Black Pearl is a perfect start to the antagonistic relation between the pirates and the trading company. Johnny Depp surpasses himself in his rendition of the dark, sinister yet witty and absolutely charming Jack Sparrow. If you aren’t a Johnny Depp fan, you will become one after you watch this movie.

This is one movie that no one should miss. A man convicted wrongly for a crime and sent to an American prison in the 1950s strives for freedom. With the lead character of Andy Dufresne played by Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman as Red, in a supporting role, this movie could not have portrayed better the quest for freedom.
Udaan

Udaan is a moving story about a relationship between an abusive father and an 18 year old son who gets expelled from one of the best boarding schools in India. His return home after 8 years is a journey where he discovers the true nature of his father, the presence of a younger step brother about whom he had no knowledge of and the true importance of friendship and love. You should watch it for the commendable performances of Rajat Barmecha, Ronit Roy and Ram Kapoor.

This Tamil multi-starrer is one that you just shouldn’t miss. Starring Kamal Hassan, Jayaram and Simran, Panchathanthiram should be watched for its impeccable comic timing and the jokes you never see coming.

Fight Club has some amazing performances delivered by Edward Norton, Brad Pitt and Helena Bonham Carter. A must-watch you need to pay attention while watching the movie to really let the climax smack you in your face.
