He launched Vijay Antony Film Corporation with the sole objective of producing films. Antony is spending time, money and energy on his forthcoming film Salim to ensure that every aspect of it is a success. “Sometimes when it comes to music, effects or sound engineering, it is difficult to achieve what you want within a fixed time frame. The talkie portions of Salim are over and we are now into post-production. Considering the action-oriented theme, sound plays a major role in the film. The dialogues and voice should sound different depending on the location. Director Nirmal Kumar has put in his best and if I don't back a film with the best technical post-production inputs, it will suffer,” says Antony who has already started preliminary work on his next venture, India Pakistan.

December 20 will be a big day in Narayan’s life. Endrendrum Punnagai in which he shares screen space with Jiiva, Trisha, Santhanam and others releases on that day. “My role in Endrendrum Punnagai may not be big but being a catalyst of change in the lives of three hardcore bachelors is significant; I play the best friend of Jiiva and Santhanam. EP is a stylishly made modern-day love story. I think it will give my career a big boost. Next, I am looking forward to Boologam which again has Trisha who is paired with Jayam Ravi. I have a longer role in Boologam as a college hotshot who crosses swords with Ravi, after which CSK and Bad Boys (in Malayalam) will hit the screens. Right now, it is EP and I am gearing up for its release,” says an excited Narayan.
