What they say…

Producer-hero Bhairav Vijay Prabhu: I have had a passion for cinema from a young age. I finished my MBA at SRM University. I also did a diploma in filmmaking. Through my friends I got an opportunity to work in Pallikondapuram, my first film with actor Napoleon. Deciding to produce a movie, I approached another friend A. Gopalsamy, who had a good storyline and that’s how Kannan 1, Kadhali 2 happened.

Director A. Gopalswamy: I joined the film institute after my graduation and came out with flying colours. I worked as an assistant to directors Senthil Nathan and Parameswar and wrote the script for Kannan 1 Kadhali 2 . In addition to producing the film, Bairav has played the lead. We are happy with the outcome of the film. I am now doing my next Thangabaspam , in which I am also acting.

Music director Jagan Kalyan: I learned Carnatic, Western and Hindustani music. I started my career as a sound engineer and worked under various music directors such as Shankar-Ganesh and Deva.

Music highlights: There are five songs in the album. ‘Mathalathukku Rendupakkam’ written by Gangai Amaren and sung by Senthil Das and Priyadharshini is fast-paced. Snehan has penned the lyrics for ‘Konjaneram,’ another good number rendered by Krish and Divyashree. The remaining three songs are written by Krithiya — ‘Siru Siru Siruthakutti’ sung by Velmurugan, ‘Haila Haila’ sung by Madhu Iyer and ‘Vinnaithandum’ sung by Krish, Kuhan and Malavika.
