A painting made by yesteryear actor Sridevi will be sold at Christie's for charity.

The proceeds for the work of art titled ‘Thoughts' will benefit Christie's ‘Green Auction: A Bid to Save the Earth,' which also has the support of personalities such as Bill Clinton and Oprah Winfrey.

The auction, due on May 6, will open at $25,000 and is expected to fetch anything between $40,000 and $50,000, her husband Boney Kapoor said.

The family also plans to hold an exhibition of Sridevi's paintings in the city within the next few months.

“It's her passion and an exhibition will give her a good platform. We will select 25-30 paintings for an exhibition very soon.”
