Brad Pitt is to produce an edgy new Dracula movie titled Vlad , hoping to cash in on the current fascination with vampires sparked by the hit Twilight , according to the Hollywood Reporter .
It’s unclear whether Pitt will also star in the movie, which will focus on Dracula as a young prince when he was known as Vlad the Impaler.
Pitt’s production company, Plan B Entertainment, is teaming up with the Twilight producer. Music video director and photographer Anthony Mandler is in line to direct the project.
