SHOT CUTSActor Richa Gangopadhyay, a dietician herself, says there are three rules one has to follow to remain slim and fit and Actor Jiiva seems to have really gone the extra mile to make an impression in his upcoming flick Mugamoodi.

Actor Richa Gangopadhyay, a dietician herself, says there are three rules one has to follow to remain slim and fit. “It is actually simple. First, have your meal by around 7 p.m. every night. As the night progresses, the body’s metabolism slows down. Having a late dinner can result in accumulation of fat, making one obese. In the U.S., people have an early dinner, whereas, in India, I find people having it at 9 p.m. or even later. The second rule is equally simple. Have your breakfast early — say by 7.30 a.m. That’s when your body’s metabolism starts picking up for the day. The third rule is drink plenty of water. People think drinking water makes one gain weight. On the contrary, it helps one stay fit by washing away all the toxins. A person has to drink at least three litres of water a day. Follow these and you will find yourself well on your way to fitness, in addition to remaining slim.”

In pursuit of perfection

Actor Jiiva seems to have really gone the extra mile to make an impression in his upcoming flick Mugamoodi. The actor, who had to wear a 10 kg suit for his Superhero look, had to repeat a kick shot 32 times till he got it right. “Tony Lung, the stunt master who choreographed the sequences, didn’t seem to be bothered about the weight of the suit I was wearing. He was only intent on getting the perfect shot and would not let me go without achieving it. The result: I had to do the kicking scene 32 times before he was satisfied,” says Jiiva. Asked whether the makers are contemplating a sequel to Mugamoodi, he says, he will be more than willing to be part of it. Meanwhile, producer Dhananjayan has tweeted that the date for the film’s audio release has been fixed and that actor Vijay will be the chief guest at the event. The grapevine has it that the makers are trying to pitch the film to Marvel.
