What they say…

Producer and director 5th Channel Ramanathan: I am basically a distributor and it’s at the instance of my friend, director Erode Murugesh, with whom I discuss filmmaking from time to time, I have taken up direction. I wanted my directorial debut to be a love story with revenge interwoven into it.

Hero Rakesh: After Ramanathapuram, Vanjam is my second film. Right from a young age, I was interested in acting. Director Ramanathan, who saw my picture, called me over to his office and outlined the story which I liked. The next day I was on board the project. We have finished canning two songs. I feel Vanjam will make me a popular hero in the Tamil film industry.

Music director Siva Shashank: I am a final year EEE student at the Meenakshi College of Engineering, Chennai. I have scored the music for 20 short films. I happened to meet director Ramanathan in a recording theatre when he expressed his wish to do a film with youngsters. I am happy that my songs have got a lot of appreciation from those who have heard them.
