Aamir Khan

Actor Aamir Khan has taken on many disguises to promote his film Three Idiots , but the actor decided to be his own self when he visited a small school run on Gandhian principles in this small hamlet of Gujarat.

Dressed in a black T-shirt bearing the name of Salman Khan’s charity ‘Being Human’ and jeans, the actor paid a surprise visit to Lok Niketan, playing cricket and sharing lunch with students.

“He said that he is enjoying the Bharat Darshan experience and is taking a lesson back from his visit to the school. Gandhiji taught us the advantages of simple living and Aamir said that he will try to imbibe the Gandhian value into his life,” headmaster B D Rajput said.

The students who weave their own khadi uniforms, were thrilled to meet their idol. Particularly a young boy, who is such a big fan of Aamir that he carries a photo of the actor wherever he goes.

Aamir made it a point to meet all the students asking them about their dreams and hopes and they instead felicitated him with a garland made of khadi.
