Actor Aamir Khan has expressed his desire to play the role of Sachin Tendulkar as and when a film is made on the cricket legend.
“I wish to play Sachin on screen. If you get a good film and I love it (the script), then I will surely do it,” he said in Mumbai, on Thursday.
The Bollywood actor is an ardent fan of Sachin and he was present at Wankhede Stadium, where Sachin is playing his last Test match.
“I went to Wankhede to see the match. I will go to see the match on Friday also and I hope Sachin scores a century,” said the 48-year-old actor, who played a village cricketer in 2001 film 'Lagaan'
The title track of ‘Dhoom 3’, featuring Aamir Khan and releasing next month, has been dedicated to the master blaster.
