Music highlights

The album consists of five songs. ‘Adi Athi’ comes first on the album. Written by Thamizhamudhan with A. Isai, it is a melodious love duet sung by Karthik and Chinmayi. ‘Alli Nagaram,’ written by Thamizhamudhan with Lalithananth, is an above average song rendered by Pazhaniamma. Thamizhamudhan has also written the rest of the three songs — ‘Sunday, Sunday’, ‘Pattam Poochi’ and ‘Yarai Kutram Solla.’ ‘Sunday, Sunday’ sung by Ranjith captures the holiday mood, while Madhu Balakrishnan has rendered ‘Pattam Poochi’ beautifully. Haricharan’s ‘Yarai Kutram Solla’ which wraps up the album appeals.

What they say…

Producer Thangaiya Murugesan: I am an interior designer. I happened to hear the story from the director. Two things impressed me — his approach and the powerful storyline. I did not interfere with his way of working and what I have got now is an entertaining film full of interesting visuals.

Director B. Karthigai Murugan : I have made this film with the blessings of director Suseendiran under whom I worked as an associate. I wanted to tell a story that highlights the importance of developing a positive approach and that captures life in urban and rural areas. For the first time, a love duet has been penned by two lyricists presenting the male and female perspectives. There is love in the film but the lovers don’t run around trees. In fact, they don’t even talk about it! Hero Udhayakumar: I am from Coimbatore and have worked as a model. This is my first full-length feature. I am happy to have got the director’s appreciation for my performance. I thank him for giving me this opportunity.

Music director A.S. Anbuselvan: A keyboard player, I have worked for almost all the top music directors in the country. I have scored the music for serials, documentaries and jingles. I am happy my songs for this film are getting a positive response.
