Synopsis
Doubles, Triples and Quadruples (DT&Q) constitutes an 'interesting' evening - fun nevertheless, but with certainly more than just that. DT&Q is an evening presented by six actors and not just a play performed. The audience will meet all kinds of people - a newly married couple, an enterprising tramp, a gifted dad and even a Mexican stand-off. There is song and dance, there is drama and action and there will be laughs and giggles and smiles and even moist eyes. The evening is diverse but with synergy and a single focus- the audience. It tries to capture Life's moments in all shapes and sizes, a palate of varied colours and shades, an array of music compositions and inspired notes, a laugh, guffaw, giggle, roar, grin or a simple grin and smile. An evening which has been carefully designed keeping in mind the audience and brings together a host of storytellers and life's moments, together -in one evening.
Evam is a five-year young 'happy factory' with one mission - to make people's life happier and to fill their lives with lightness and a sense of purpose. Evam was started in Chennai in September 2003 by Karthik and Sunil Vishnu K, MICA Graduates, with the sole purpose of bringing the people back to theatre. It has so far done 225 shows (16 plays)
