From small screen to stage

The stage is set for Minbimbangal’s first Tamil comedy play, to be presented on April 20

Minbimbangal, the television production house, known for popular soaps such as ‘Ramani vs Ramani,’ ‘Marmadesam’ and ‘Premi,’ has come up with its first Tamil play, ‘Oru Sila Pala Nimidamum Pechchum’. It will be staged on April 20, 6.45 p.m., at Narada Gana Sabha.

The story is about the need to express oneself better. Latha, the protagonist struggles to express her feelings. A turn of events brings about a transformation in her and she begins to share her thoughts with others.

To be staged under the auspices of Kartik Fine Arts, Brahma Gana Sabha and Sri Parthasarathy Swami Sabha, the play stars Meka Rajan, Ganesh Vaidyanadhan, Harinath Arun, Vetriee, Agnitha Nagarajan, Padma Ganapathy, Vishnubala and Geetha. Story and script are by Geetha Kailasam; sets by Mohan Babu and Mano handles lights.
