New Supergirl Melissa Benoist has been given the super seal of approval from none other than Superman. Former Lois and Clark star Dean Cain is predicting that the new Supergirl TV series will make Hollywood newcomer Melissa a huge star.
“I think the show is going to do fantastically and I think Melissa is perfectly cast,” says Dean, 48, who appears as Supergirl’s foster father in the new show. “She has a great humility about her and she has that super thing where you really root for her. It’s going to do really well.”
