Shootout in Mumbai Filmcity: Amitabh

A “gang war shootout” is said to have happened at the Filmcity in Goregaon East here on Friday, according to megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who was present in the vicinity.

“Okay!! Shooting at Film City...and a gang war shootout 20 feet from where we are...!! 1 dead... cops all over,” the 72-year-old tweeted on Friday afternoon.

The Filmcity is an integrated film studio complex with multiple locations that serve as the venue of many Bollywood film and TV show shootings.

Bachchan was shooting for a film titled Wazir directed by Bejoy Nambir, while Alok Nath was shooting for a TV serial titled Mere Rang Mein Rangnewali .
