Shah Rukh Khan ‘enthused about life’ after meeting Mamata

An “enthused” Shah Rukh Khan relished his meeting with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednedsay ahead of a special performance with 'Happy New Year' cast members to celebrate its success.

Shah Rukh Khan along with Farah Khan, Sonu Sood met Ms. Banerjee.

The actor tweeted:

Farah Khan-directed ‘Happy New Year’, which released on October 24, has minted Rs.108.86 crore in the opening weekend.

He arrived in Kolkata with Farah Khan to entertain audiences at a show in St. Xavier’s College with ‘Happy New Year’ actors Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah.

The movie also stars Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Jackie Shroff and Boman Irani.

The actor arrived in the city in style with Farah beside him and was instantly surrounded by a huge crowd of people snapping photos and clamouring for autographs. Soon, he was whisked away in a vehicle.
