In certain situations, one can’t help but only laugh. Same happened with the Bollywood star Salman Khan on Monday morning when he missed two flights at the Mumbai airport. But, the actor only laughed it all off.

Salman was initially booked in Jet Airways 9W 311 Mumbai-Delhi flight scheduled for departure for Delhi at 9.55 a.m. along with four of five others. However, when Salman realised he could not reach on time, Jet Airways was requested by those travelling along to ‘off-load’ him. Then the 50-year-old actor got himself booked in the Vistara flight scheduled for departure at 10.25 a.m. But, he failed to catch this as well.

“We were informed that Mr. Khan was on the way and we waited to accommodate him. But he was delayed. When he could not arrive before gate closure, we decided not to wait and pushed back,” said a Vistara spokesperson.

“Just as the aircraft was pushing back, Mr. Khan arrived at the check-in counter and was informed about the flight departure. Then he looked at our airport staff and laughed,” the spokesperson saids, quoting the actor as saying, “Oh God! what a bad day. I missed two flights this morning.” “And then he laughed,” she said.

Though in a hurry, Mr. Khan maintained calm as the Vistara staff helped him board the next Jet Airways flight 9W 307 for Delhi at 11.40 am, airline officials said.

It could not be immediately ascertained from where Salman reached the airport. He stays with his parents at the Galaxy Apartments at Lands End, Bandra which is not far away from the airport.

He was headed to catch the flight at the international terminal of the airport at Sahar, Andheri from where Jet Airways, Vistara and Air India operate.
