Actress Juliette Binoche has revealed that director Quentin Tarantino cried while watching ’Godzilla’.

Tarantino apparently revealed to Binoche that he was deeply moved by her character Sandra Brody’s death in a nuclear plant disaster, reported Digital Spy .

“Well, Quentin Tarantino said to me, ‘That was the first time I’ve ever cried during a 3D blockbuster. I had to take off my glasses to wipe away my tears’,” the actress said. “I took it as a compliment.”

Binoche added that she had quite a different reaction to her brief appearance in ‘Godzilla’. “I don’t know how much fun you can have when you have to die in two seconds, and you’re the one real woman character and you’re dead in three minutes and 45 seconds,” she joked.

Director Gareth Edwards will return for a 2018 ‘Godzilla’ sequel, which will feature iconic monsters Rodan, King Ghidorah and Mothra.

It has also been confirmed that writer Max Borenstein will be back for ‘Godzilla 2’.
