Filmmaker Nagesh Kukunoor’s ‘Dhanak’ has been honoured with The Grand Prix of the Generation Kplus International Jury for the best feature-length film at the 65th Berlin International Film Festival.

The movie, which premiered at the festival, also received a special mention from Kids Jury at the festival.

“We win the Grand Prix for Best Feature film in Generation Kplus at @berlinale!,” the film’s official twitter page read.

Kukunoor added, “We also took special mention with the children’s jury. @Dhanakthefilm.”

‘Dhanak’ revolves around the relationship between a 10-year old girl Pari and Chotu, her 8-year old brother who live in a picturesque village. The film stars Hetal Gada and Krrish Chhabria.
