Entries are invited for the 6th edition of the The Hindu Sa Re Ga Ma M.S. Subbulakshmi Award from young Carnatic vocalists.
Participants between the ages of 18 and 26 can record their voice and send in the sample audio CD on or before October 20, 2017 to M. S. Subbulakshmi Award 2017, C/o SAREGAMA, Kasi Arcade, III Floor, 116, Theagaraya Road, T. Nagar, Chennai -600017.
They have to enclose their ID proof, address proof, email ID, and telephone/mobile number. Only one sample per participant will be accepted. The sample voice recorded in a CD should not exceed 15 minutes.
Finale in November
The regional winners will compete in a grand finale in Chennai, planned to be held early in November.
The winner of this grand finale stands to win an opportunity to bring out his/her own album by Saregama.
