For the employees of Atom Software Solutions, it will be an extended weekend, thanks to their CEO Pramodh Kumar Kamichetty, who is a big fan of Kalyan.
“I have given holiday to my entire team on Friday and plan to take them for the morning show. The theme of the film is excellent and we are certain that the film is going to be a great success,” said Mr. Kamichetty.
Directed by Kishore Kumar Pardasani aka Dolly, the film also stars Shruti Haasan and Tarun Arora among others.
Ever since the release of the teaser last month, social media has been abuzz about how the film would turnout to be in its Telugu version. After an electrifying screen presence of the superstar in the trailer, fans are expecting the unexpected from the power star of Telugu cinema.
To clad in dhoti
Ardent fans like Harsha Vardhan plan to watch the film in Kalyan’s dhoti-clad avatar in the film on the first day of its release.
“We will be wearing handloom white shirts, panchas (dhoti) and green kanduva as sported by Pawan Kalyan in the film and take out bike rallies across the city from Friday morning,” said Harsha Vardhan, a postgraduate in political science.
Clad in the attire, around 100 fans from the city are planning to gather at VMax multiplex at the Jagadamba Junction and beat the ‘conga’ drums in unison ahead of the opening show of Katamarayudu.
“I am expecting the film to be high on entertainment, do great business and give an underlying political message on Rayalaseema as is evident from the trailer,” he added.
Biggest flexi banner
At Adduroad in Visakhapatnam Rural, the celebrations will be kicked off from 1 a.m. on March 24 with the first show of the film. V. Satish Kumar, general secretary of the Visakha District Fans’ Association of Pawan Kalyan said the biggest flexi banner of the State of 40 by 100 feet dimension was being fixed at VMax in Visakhapatnam.

We are expecting the film to shatter all box office records,” Kumar said. With a strong pre-release sentiment spread across the region, Kalyan is expected to strike gold at the box office. Incidentally, the teaser of the film clocked more than 11 million views, surpassing the numbers of Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi No 150 trailer.
