The story of a Boston Marathon bombing survivor is headed for the big screen, the Hollywood Reporter and Variety reported on Monday.

Lionsgate is developing the movie about 28-year-old Jeff Bauman, who lost both of his legs when two bombs exploded at the finish line of the Boston Marathon on April 15 last year. Three people were killed in the attack and more than 260 injured.

The movie will be adapted from Bauman’s book about his experiences, Stronger.

Todd Lieberman and David Hoberman (The Fighter) will be producing the project together with Scott Silver, according to the reports.
