The actor hopes to follow in her sister Karisma’s footsteps and train in a classical dance form. According to her, she would love to learn either Kathak or Bharatanatyam. “I plan to get trained professionally in Kathak or Bharatanatyam in the near future. Right now, I have a lot of commitments, but I want to pursue my childhood passion,” Kareena said. “I have always been inspired by my sister, who is a trained classical dancer. When I was young, I would watch Karisma practising the steps and imitate her in front of the mirror,” added the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actress, who will next be seen in R. Balki’s Ki And Ka .
Kareena believes that Indian women look beautiful in ethnic clothes. “We often ape the west when it comes to fashion, but I think even a simple sari can make a woman look effortlessly beautiful,” she said.The star, who is the face of Craftsvilla Miss Ethnic contest, shared that her fans love her Indian avatar.
“Most of my fans love my Indian avatar and I am also personally comfortable wearing that. When it comes to dressing up for occasions, I prefer wearing an anarkali or a sari. Fashion, for me, is all about being comfortable. I believe that whatever I am comfortable in, becomes fashion for me,” she said.
