Illayaraja in London for re-recording of ‘Rudhramadevi’

Maestro Illayaraja has left for London for re-recording upcoming Telugu period-drama Rudhramadevi , which is said to be based on the life of reigning queen of Kakatiya dynasty.

“Illayaraja sir has left to London to oversee the re-recording formalities of the film. He’s expected to stay there for about two weeks,” a source from the film’s unit said.

On Sunday, the film’s director Gunasekhar and lead actress Anushka Shetty met the maestro at a studio here and thanked him for the mesmerizing tunes for the film.

Touted to be made on a budget of Rs.70 crore, Rudhramadevi also features Rana Daggubati and Allu Arjun in important roles.
