First poster of Priyanka Chopra—starrer biopic on Olympic—winner Mary Kom has been unveiled, showing the actress posing as the boxer.
Chopra, who stars as Mary Kom in the titular film, can be seen in workout attire, with her hair tied in a pony tail, striking a similarity with the boxer’s look.
She is seen in an aggressive and fighting mood in the >poster . The film, directed by Omung Kumar and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, also stars Minakkshi Kalitaa, Shishir Sharma and Zachary Coffin in significant roles.
Mary Kom is said to have shared boxing tips with the 31—year—old actress in order for character authenticity to be upheld in the film. ‘Mary Kom’ is expected to release on Sept. 5 this year.
