Big B to play RJ

Amitabh Bachchan will take on the role of an RJ and will converse with thousands of listeners from across the country on Thursday.

Big B will converse with listeners over phone from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday on All India Shamitabh Radio as part of the promotion for his upcoming film Shamitabh , a 93.5 Red FM spokesperson said here.

“Our tagline will be- we love him on the big screen, we admire him on the small screen and we hold our breath when he recites poems on stage. But how will you react when the legend calls you up over phone?” the spokesperson said.

Shamitabh , has been directed by R. Balki, who has to his credit other Big B films Cheeni Kum and Paa. Dhanush and debutant Akshara Haasan will be in the film for which famed music composer Ilaiyaraaja has given music.
