Alia Bhatt has apologised to her fans for not being regular on micro-blogging site Twitter as the actress was busy shooting her upcoming film “Udta Punjab”.
The 22-year-old “Highway” star, who has over four million admirers on Twitter did not share any updates for quite sometime.
“And the first sched for #UdtaPunjab ends for me! Apologies for going MIA... But had to had to focus and now I’m back sweet home (sic),” Alia tweeted.

“Udta Punjab”, which also stars Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh in different segments, deals with the drug issue in the state.
Directed by Abhishek Chaubey of “Dedh Ishqiya” fame, the film is jointly produced by by Phantom Films and Balaji Motion Pictures.
